Can an 8 year old write a magic book?

That's the question that will be decided on Saturday, September 24th, when Steve Vaughn of http://www.magicbroadcast.com Internet Magic Radio reviews Eleazar Goodenough's book, "Tear-Able Magic; Paper Magic for Wizards" on Saturday, Sept 24th, 9:45 EDT, 8:45 CDT, 7:45 MDT, 6:45 PDT.

Eleazar Goodenough is an 8 year old magician/author and although this is his first book, he has already contributed many tricks and articles to The Wizards' Journal. You can see the table of contents of the book on the Internet at http://www.magicnook.com

Steve's written review of Eleazar's book will appear on Magic Talk - http://www.magictalk.com

It has been argued by the skeptics on The Genii Forum that this book is a scam and that no eight year old could have written it or created the new magical effects and routines it contains. Those of us who have watched Eleazar growing up know differently. It is true that his second grade (he was actually seven years old when he started the book) writing and grammar had to be edited by adults, but all the ideas and words are his. Now we'll await the verdict of Steve Vaughn's professional opinion and review on Internet radio.

Third reaction: No, really -- a truck.

Well, an adult could easily write a book and use an 8 year old to promote it I figure...

And could even manage to throw in a wretched "JK Rowling lite" knockoff while at it...
