Natalee Holloway is dead

The Today Show had a psychic on this morning who helped police solve a double murder.

She then informed us that Natalee Holloway is dead, and a man was involved. She was then asked about the guy that disappeared from the cruise ship, who's blood was found on an awning 2 decks below his room (I don't recall his name). She said she had a vision of him "going over the side of the boat". She also said other people where around.

I'd like to hear you close minded "skeptics" try to explain this away!

Are there no murderors dumb enough to believe in psychics but smart enough to think "I'd better nobble that TV seer before I commit homicide"?

Its simple really. The psychic killed Natalee Holloway and the cruise ship guy. With a prediction that detailed, how else could she know?

Or witnessed it and translated it as a, "vision," because she couldn't handle what happened. Don't you watch Law & Order, Original Flavor?

Its funny you mention that because mine is from an SVU plot a la Martin Short. Serial killer tormenting the victim's family and police by pretending to be a psychic.

(ETA: If you caught that already, I tip my hat to you sir!)

Yeah, I think it would be much better if they focused on Belzer and Ice-T instead of the other two.

Could she be a little less specific than that?

I guess she could have said a human was involved! She narrowed it down to a man. I have no idea how she could know something like that. I was amazed!

Well, I make the prediction that some people (in an as-yet undisclosed location in the world) will be murdered today, and that neither OJ, Scott Peterson OR Tookie will be involved.

Well, it was on TV, so it must be true.

I had no idea about this story until I read this thread and read Jan Vanity Fair about the case. Awful story. Is the general concensus that she'll never be found?

Now just hold on a minute. Your psychic is contradicting my psychic. Allison Dubois, the psychic upon whom the NBC show "Medium" is based, says it was the three boys whodunnit:

Quote:
DUBOIS: Well, in this case, you have the right suspects. They‘re completely guilty. The things that I would find important to be looking at, if I were working this case, would be, for instance, that these three boys have done this to other girls before that were visiting Aruba as tourists. It just hasn‘t escalated to murder, but I would look at the pattern that was set down by their past victims.

COSBY: Now, Allison, you said that these guys are completely guilty.

DUBOIS: Yes.
Watch the video and read more here.

I particularly like the "head tapping" business.

So your psychic is wrong! Nyah, nyah, nyah!

Here's the real ugly part of the interview. The NBC correspondent is interviewing both Dubois and Natalie's dad together. So with the dad listening, we have this exchange:

Quote:
COSBY: Now, Allison, you know, the big question everyone is wondering, is Natalee dead or alive? What‘s her state?

DUBOIS: Well, and with all due respect to the parents, and I hope I say this with sensitivity, she was not sold on the black market. She has passed. And I think, right now, we‘re just working to maybe find a little justice for her.
Forum rules prevent me from saying what I think about Crosby for asking the question of a freaking psychic for entertainment value and what I think about Dubois for being so cold blooded for personal gain.

And that old standby about the corpse being near a body of water:

Quote:
DUBOIS: I actually do think one of the boys will turn on the other boys and offer up something that will lead to a resolve of the case. I always did see them near the water with her. So my concern is that Van Der Sloot knew exactly where to put her, water-wise, where the decomposition or the elements in the water would make it so that she would not be found.
Um. Cruise ship. Aruba. A body of water is a total no-brainer.

Obviously she is a very logical person, just like all of us. Her fans however are another story.
