I dunno they fell kinda flat for me. Halfway funny, if that, and not because I'm American. I share a few of those criticisms. The statements and "messages" are nothing new, I think that's why. It's like telling a joke that everyone has already heard. Yeah our pilots do speed and smoke crack and our government is choking the constitution...same ol' same ol' -yawn-.
Cool artwork though, but put to mediocre use. Welcome to the boards Have I been here long enough to say that?

Its funny to some. I call it "validation" humour. Its only funny to those for whom it validates their views. Your timeless satire can usually be appreciated by most.
If you want to find it funny even though it doesn't validate your viewpoint, pretend its satire of the viewpoint that finds it funny. "this is kind of lame thing someone who believes this horse puckey would make" All of a sudden, now its funny to you. |
