The Cosmic Ordering Service

The UK Daily Mail Wed April 5, 2006:

'It's the new-age belief Noel Edmonds (left) says has turned his life
around. Cosmic ordering is based on the ideas of Barbel Mohr,
who says anyone can get what they want by 'placing an order'
with the universe. Mohr's book The Cosmic Ordering Service has
shot to the top of Amazon's online charts since the Deal Or No Deal
host's revelation. So does it work? These four women think so, and
tell Natasha Courtenay'Smith why. Georgina Davies, 29, a support
worker and reiki therapist from Brighton, says:

'Cosmic ordering involves asking the universe, or cosmos, for the
things you want in life. It works on the premise that if you spend
your life worrying about things, then you're working against the
natural flow of energy in the universe.

'If you ask for something and believe it will come to you, then it
does. It's that simple.'

--

So that's all there is to it!

Warning:
Raquel is already mine, AND Victoria ... one on the right, one on
the left.

There is probably a reason why this is different to what used to be
called 'wishful thinking', but my small brain cannot comprehend it.

And it isn't an April 1st hoax, either ...

I particularly like the bit about how YOU can disrupt energy in the universe by worrying. Because it's all about you.

Why isn't worrying causes symptoms of stress reason enough to try to worry less?

Why do people need the extra terms like: quantum soul resonance, universal energy disturbance, or soul's universal energy quantum disturbance resonance frequency? Does it make them happier?

I wonder if this is what Uri Geller is relying on when he does his
'positive energy urges'? If so, he's doing it wrong. I'm hoping
y'all have better luck than he does, and I mean that sincerely!

If it works in any way at all, it's because writing things down may help focus your mind on your goals, and by believing it's going to work, you're more likely to be open to any opportunities that come your way, and more likely to be bold and accept them if you think the Cosmos is answering your wishes.

Anyway, Noel should have asked the Cosmos for some talent.

Amazon once made a wish come true by delivering me a copy of "Cosmos", does that count?

I see it another way. I see it as another thing I could have written a book about to make tons of money. Where do you find publishers for these books? I need to get on the ball....
