Whatever happened to the Angel Light?

Remember this amazing machine which was supposed to see through walls? What became of that? I can't find any mention of it since last year.

Did it turn out to be bogus? (Surely not).
Was it eaten by a grizzly bear?

Can anyone please illuminate me?

And, IMHO, therin lies the rub: If this beam can penetrate otherwise opaque matter as if it weren't there, then what about it changes to cause it to suddenly illuminate and be reflected from the target, change back again to pass back through the intervening opaque barrier, then change yet again so as to affect the retina of the observer?

Must be the work of Angels.

At this time, without further reasoning or evidence, I'd call it BS.

Cheers,
Dave

So, yeah, I had this amazing new see-through-walls invention that came to me in a dream and it just used three fluorescent tubes like from my kitchen and the microwave oven as well and of course a bunch of lasers and stuff and it really worked and I could see through walls and kill goldfish and make planes crash and MIT were like "Whoa! Nobel Prize, dude!" and it was just really, really Awesome but it made my hand go a bit tingly so I thought I'd just take it apart and forget about it until some French guy saw it on TV and offered me like a billion dollars and
I for one am utterly convinced.

Hurtubise said he could see into the garage behind his lab wall, and read the licence plate on his wife's car and even see the salt on it.

"I almost broke my knuckles three or four times, because it was almost like you could step through the wall," Hurtubise said.

"You could be fooled into believing that you could actually walk through the wall and go touch the car."
Three or four times?! Has anyone here walked into the same glass door three or four times before becoming convinced that they could not walk through it?

Well, I don’t know about people repeatedly walking into glass doors, but we’ve had a cardinal trying to fly through our windows for a few months now. It’s even managed to rip a couple holes in some of the screens. Pretty bird though, it’s a brilliant shade of red. Still haven’t figured out the bird’s obsession with trying to get into the house though, perhaps it is suicidal since we have seven cats.

Its not trying to get into the house. It is attacking its reflection in the glass. Cardinals are quite territorial, especially in the spring. To stop cardinals at our house, we tape newspaper on the inside of certain windows to kill the reflection.

Odd you should mention this. Just two minutes ago a catbird (I think; mockingbird sized but charcoal gray with a black "hat") attacked a window just behind me.

Interesting, we moved into the area about 2 years ago and this is the first run in with a cardinal like this. Being relatively new to this area, I’m unfamiliar with some of these habits I guess, but I do enjoy learning about them. Thanks for the tip, perhaps it will save some of the screens. Although, it is fun to watch this bird drive the cats crazy.

The Angel Light has evolved into the God Light, which can cure cancer! Check out these refs.

This guy Hurtubise sounds like a wacko nutjob, but you never know, maybe he has stumbled onto the next breakthrough in physics (not likely).

I've seen Cardinals do this for days. They will literally beat themselves to death, a little at a time. Try to head it off before all your windows are soiled with filth, feathers, and blood.

I’m not sure if this one is quite that bad, seems to be attacking the windows with its feet and not its head. I’ll put up something tonight once I get home to try to head it off.

From the sound of it, that's what the catbird (I looked it up in Peterson's; that's what it was) did too. There was a clatter, not a thud. The window has shades inside, no chance of a bird trying to fly through it.

Well, obviously, someone put two of the devices pointing at each other, and now nobody can find them. They're terribly embarased about the whole thing, and don't really want to talk about it.

The biggest risk with an Angel Light would be dropping it. How many Fallen Angel Lights would it take to change their own light bulbs... with or without our approval? =@.@=

Lots of photos of a funny machine. Just one showing it actually working would have been useful.

As we speak Dr. Hurtubise is in his secret lair hidden in a hollowed out volcan-o surrounded by liquid hot mag-ma. He's got The Angel Light pointed at Washington D.C., which he will obliterate if he's not promptly paid the sum of one million dollars.

Mwahaha. Mwahahaha.

Troy has been unusually subdued for a while now. It's not like him to be out of the limelight for more than 6 months. He was getting a lot of attention from Daily Planet for a while but I think the novelty has worn off and even they aren't silly enough to do a story on his "God Light".

Troy is an attention whore and if he can't get media attention for his "amazing" inventions then he starts making claims about being tailed by Al Qaeda spies or something. I think the Bay Today webnews reporter Phil Novak is one of the few who still reports any of Troy's nonsense.

It's sad, really.

I'm afraid it was much more insidious than that.
