Thumbs up Google Trends, Evolution vs. Intelligent Design

<still not allowed to post urls yet, sorry for not making a clickable link>

www .google. com/trends?q=evolution%2C+intelligent+design

Very interesting trend. The actual number of google searches on evolution far outweighs that of intelligent design (for the most part), yet the news reports are much, much closer. To me, this indicates that while the media is jumping up and down on the whole "ID" garbage, the general public are, for the most part, not fooled. At least the ones who use google aren't. Things aren't *quite* as nice when you filter on the US, but still not nearly as bad as I initially thought it would be.

Since this is only a comparison of people who use the internet, and people who use google, this may not be completely representative of the public in large, but it does make me feel that rational thought may be in better shape than the media would have us believe.

PS: I love google.

Linkified for you.

And I like this. Google Trends is such a good idea.

Stealing from another website: too close to call.

It's funny to see which cities and regions dominate each search...

Not really a fair fight, andy. Allah beats Jehovah by a landslide.
