Twisting Reset

This is a video recorded quite some time ago from Aranud Chevrier, a young French magician. It combines elements of a couple classic effects for a nice five minute routine.

My favorite part is the first effect, the variation on Twisting the Aces. As I said in an earlier thread, I am not much of a fan of the Vernon version, which is hailed by many professional magicians as the greatest card trick of all time. I think this version has some advantages, but the crediting is unclear. Does anyone know whose it is?

The only version I know of, off hand, is J.C. Wagner's Twisted Underground Transposition from The Commercial Magic of J.C. Wagner.

I'm sure there are other variations out there. I'll sniff around to see what I can find out.

No but he really needs to work on the handling. The routine is good though.

There's a short thread at Conjure Nation re: Arnaud Chevrier.

Thanks for the replies.

Dinsdale: your site requires registration and it's rejecting the hotmail account I use for these sort of things. Will I get junk if I use a real address?

Cain,

Sorry about that. I thought you could read the threads without registering.

You won't get any junk from Conjure Nation. It's really is a great site for card workers. Some well known card men post there frequently with some great contributions. It's free, so if you feel like it, I'd recommend registering.
