Need help: Holy Blood, Holy Grail
I hope I got the book's name right.
Can anyone help me by recommending books, articles or web-sites providing a scholoarly refutation of Holy Blood/Holy Grail? The book that tries to show that Jesus survived the cruxifiction and went to France, founded the French royal line, etc. I read the book many, many years ago and recall being troubled by it -- it seemed very soft on it sources. I was having a discussion with a person the other day who believes it whole-hog, but I couldn't think where to send that person to to refute the premise. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. |

Here's a little something:
http://mailbox.univie.ac.at/~muehleb9/hbhgrev.html You might also want to check Usenet, as well as reading the purchaser comments for this book on Amazon.com. There could be some useful info there. |

There is one holy grail in the cathedral of my city, Valencia.
![]() I heard there a lot of them over all Europe, around 20 or near. Nobody seems to give much credibility to the history of our local holy grail, including christian authorities... |

I think that by just verifying the sources in Holy Blodd, the thing is mainly mythological.
