Are you Enlightened?

Take the quiz and find out!

Don't you just love the transtopian definition of enlightenment?

I should post my results:
Quote:
MEMETIC SHOCK LEVEL 01 (0-4): average. More than a few candles short of Enlightenment. The sheepish, conformist, intellectually lazy masses reign supreme here. Hell's overcrowded livingroom.
And I thought regular transhumanists were crazy.

What? Not a bit of it!

Absoloodle! But even here scepticism enters:
Quote:
MEMETIC SHOCK LEVEL 04 (0-4): the pinnacle. Transtopian, or pretty close to it. Progressive and hardcore with very few taboos. Looks like we have a WINNER here (either that or a major CHEAT)!

I'm not interested in Transtopia. I like my penis.

You are wrong to think that. It's an ingrained taboo. You should cast off your penis (with the rest of your body) and join the Enlightened!

Anyone ever read Geek Love? I had mixed feelings about the novel, but part of the story involved a cult that viewed amputation as the path to enlightenment, with the devoted having progressively more and more of their limbs removed as they continued along the path. It was pretty damn creepy.

Wasted time, never to be regained

As always (well, most of the time, if I can muster the patience), I took the thing twice. The first time, I answered honestly and was scored 02, above average on whatever dibshid scale they have. Then I took it again, changing my yeses to noes (it only took a minute) and switching my few maybes to match what I assumed they wanted to hear. Funny thing, I got the same score. Who ARE these people?

They're transtopians ("evolved transhumanists"). If you say "Yes" to everything, you get the desired closest to Enlightened result. If you're in the middle range, switching your answers around will give you the same kind of score as you had before.

"MEMETIC SHOCK LEVEL 03 (0-4): borderline Enlightened. Purgatory; the countercultural realm. The more interesting Atheists, Libertarians, Transhumanists, and Modern Satanists dwell here, together with other freethinking and politically incorrect types. Congratulations, you're just a couple candles short of Enlightenment! Keep honing those clearly present rational, taboo-smashing instincts, and one day you too might become an Enlightened Transtopian Master."

Well, I guess that's pretty good considering my first thought upon reading the title of the OP was "nope!"
