Bad communications with the dead?

If there are spirits/souls that live on after people die that some living people can communicate with, why are there any unsolved murders and missing bodies?

Being dead invalidates your ability to speak clearly. You are reduced to hissing letters. Sorta like Gollum.

Being psychic invalidates your ability to hear clearly. You are reduced to guessing names that sound alike. Sorta like a cold-reader.

Or perhaps God has made it that spirits automatically become game show hosts and they can only hint at one letter at a time? (sounds like a C or a D or perhaps a B . . . maybe an E)

Because living people can't really communicate with dead people, they can only pretend to.

I do wonder how a 'psychic' would answer this question though.

The dead tell us... We just don't hear or understand.

Given that it's heaven, it's gotta be Vanna White

Like the Pigasus awards....
They send. It's not their fault if we don't receive.

Look, mate!
Every police officer that ever solved a murder did so in his dreams. Where do dreams come from? Huh? Huh? Go on, tell me!

QED

How can it be known it is sent if it is not received? Is there a third party in a limbo between life and death that can communicate with both that says a spirit is sending you a message but you won't receive it?

And I thought they did it by fabricating evidence. Dreams come from the land of nod.

If it's possible to transmit any information, then it's possible to transmit Morse Code, and sooner or later somebody who knows it must have died and tried to talk to somebody else who does, and they would have established a clear channel of communications.

"I'm hearing an M...an M...Ma...em, em anybody?"

"I have a m-other!"

So that would be . . . “I am hearing a dash dash . . . A dash dash . . . dash dash, dot dash . . . em, em anybody?"
“I have a dash dash, dash dash dash, dash, dot dot dot dot, dot, dot dash dot”

The dead are inveterate pranksters. With all of eternity to while away is it any wonder that they set the living up for some pratfalls now and then? It's only natural, sez me.
