Given the number of men in the forum I'm afraid the chance was close to 1. In other words, it wasn't a good bet.

I wasn't talking about finances. Only in esteem for my gender. As the Germans are want to say, "Männer sind Schweine". On the other hand however, Dr. Salk discovered a cure for polio so I guess we have our moments.
