A small CT version
Driving home the other evening with my fellow carpooler and we had been talking about the Brits and the latest terror alert. She says to me "You know, that flight 93 was shot down by the government!" Immediately the phrase "oh gawd not another one" inserts itself into my thoughts.
"Huh?" I said. "Ys," she replied "My friend told me that her brother, who's a dispatcher in NY and who was on the job during 9/11, told her that they had doen and that the government is covering it up." "The government isn't doing a very good job." I replied "how so?" "We're sitting in a car on an interstate, both of us work in a hospital and WE know about it. This cover up isn't doing very well - is it?" "I guess not." "Did they fake the phone calls do you reckon?" I asked "What phone calls?" "The ones from the people on the plane..." The conversation went on for 30 minutes. Though I "won" the argument I think she is still sitting there with the little suspicion that the plane was shot down. Man... |
