LC Forum: Banwatch

I've not seen this info posted over here yet, but it's getting really hard to keep up.

Sun zoo's light was extinguished because he 'spammed' the forum with posts and pictures proving his pet theory. Well, we know how that feels.

http://s15.invisionfree.com/Loose_Ch...howtopic=11728

Jackchit looks firm favourite to be next under JDX's banhammer, if he's not gone already:

Also, in that same thread it emerged that populvuh got the choppulvuh because he scammed Dylan and co out of $10,000! Oh those poor boys. lol.

You FELL for that? Ho ho ho. Hey guys I've got 85.65 million dollars I need to put in a secure account for a while. I'll give you 10% if you help me out...

The guy's name was Mark, was it? That should have been a dead giveaway.

...MAN, these guys are gullible...

I never look at the loose change forums but I just noticed something.

Read the tagline for "The Passengers" room:

Discuss all aspects of the alleged passengers on Flight's 11, 175, 77, and 93 here.

Actually here in New Zealand we DO have volcano insurance...

Auckland City (where I live) has over 200 volcanoes in it...

I did see a post somewhere pointing out that the LC forum member known as London Eye has not posted anything at LC since the day of the recent arrests of terror suspects in England. Kinda strange since he is one of the admins.
I wonder if he was nicked by the Old Bill...

Is this a conspiracy?
Wish I had all of Chucksheen's smilies to throw in here...

i suspect the bannings will be a their worst after LC Final Cut comes out, because then dylan and co will have finally decided what the "truth" is, and will want to get rid of all dissenting viewpoints

ETA. Next time Taupo has one of its big erruptions it will kill everyone living in New Zealand and destroy every single village/town/city.

No doubt we would have evacuated to Australia or something well before then, but it is somewhat sobering to know without question that your country's days are numbered.

youll rebuild, in 1871 a fire destroyed 18,000 buildings over 2000 acres...they were replaced with some of the first skyscrapers

Just how long would it take to evacuate 4 million people?

Are there enough share houses in Bondi?

Would the All Blacks represent Australia, or NZ in exile*?

*This could determine the success of the evacuation.

did dylan actually admit it or is it just his figure of speech? I suspect the later, without bothering to go look. Be funny if he did sign a contract thinking of stardom etc hahaha.

Its classic that they are banning all the previous heavy advocates of the CT from their forum.
The irony that they dont even believe half the crap each other spouts is quite warming. If only they 'believed' in facts, they would not have to squabble like seagulls to chips...

Unfortunately we're talking about an entire country, or 66.3 million acres.

Not to mention the entire country will be buried under a good many metres of acidic volcanic ash which nothing will grow in.

I imagine we'd get several decades of warning at an absolute minimum... siesmic activity around Taupo is increasing exponentially, and the bottom of the lake is rising, but it'll grow into a little mountain before it goes bang, least that's what the scientists tell us...

We could very well get several centuries warning.

Maybe we could be like the Jews and go into exile for 3,000 years before establishing a new homeland...Unfortunately when our neighbours invade us the day after we declare independence we'll be too engrossed in the first All Black selection trials in 3 millenia to actually defend outselves...

Nonetheless, we'll still win...

And the next time the supervolcano under Yellowstone goes it will destroy most of the western USA. But that doesn't happen but every 700,000 years or so. The last eruption was 699,999 years ago...

Here's Dlyan's words. If we want to find out more I guess we have to 'do our own research'. The thread's is 'out there' apparently but Dylan's to busy to indicate where exactly, or even hint at some words to type into their busted search engine.

Quote:
popol is responsible for screwing us over on a $10,000 contract
Quote:
i've explained the popol vuh thing countless times and i'm not about to again. the thread's out there.
Quote:
No, he was a guy named Mark in Priceton who came to us promising the world, investors, interviews, footage, to take care of our sales...
...and gave us absolutely nothing, then charged us $10,000 for the privelege. then they tried pulling the same thing with Dustin Mugford, trying to force him to charge speaking fees.
Dylan never seems keen on telling a straight story - always a little evasive or innacurate. The first line implies they lost $10,000 of income (ie a distribution contract or something), the last implies they handed over $10,000 after knowing they'd been scammed. The truth is probably somewhere inbetween... in the same way the north pole is between LA and New York.

Y'all see smilies over there? Right after I started reading that forum, I used Adblock in Firefox to delete all the smileys. I also used the board settings to turn off avatars and signatures when reading the posts. I've done the same here, but at the LC Forum, the avatars and sigs are really distracting.

It took me a while to figure out why I saw so many completely blank posts over there, then I realized that it was an all-smiley post. They have a lot of those.

You know, from this, I'm suspecting a different picture. Notice that last bit: "...trying to force him to charge speaking fees."

THis makes it sound more to me as if popul was actually just an agent/PR man/promoter...but Dylan and Co. wanted to "get the truth out". So when they were advised to, say, charge $10 a pop for the movie, they continued to offer it free. WHen told they should charge for speaking engagements, they didn't, etc.

I'd bet there's a lot more to this story than Dylan's version. Heck, from the way Dylan sees "truth", I wouldn't be suprised to know that he tried to steal money from popul, and the $10,000 he lost was a fine or result of a civil action .

I honestly believe the thing that got me banned over there was when I ridiculed their "argument by emoticon graphic" technique.

You shouldn't make fun of that, it's the only proof they have.

Well Popul vuh (if it is the same person and not another 9/11 CT with the same name) is still registered at the democratic underground forum, but I don't feel like posting their long enough to get pming priveliges. I was hoping to find his e-mail so as to get his side of the story as to what happened.

I seem to remember one of Dylan's blogs bragging about a trip to Princeton. He was mainly bragging about failing film school, yet getting to show his film at Princeton. If it's the same trip, I wonder if he still feels the same way?

Well I just realized that you can e-mail popul vuh to get his side, because on the loosers forum if you use their search function you can still find his profile. You can e-mail him through that, but the e-mail can be read by the administrators. So chances are if you do so they will read it and your sokc puppet will get banned.
