Really Stupid or Seriously Troubled

It was all so simple when he was just an intellectual lightweight nutjob pain in the a** with little grasp of evidence or logic. Would that it were true!

I apologize to the forum as a whole. I was earlier a riveted follower of the Christophera thread, but I had given it up as his hypotheses were just so absurd, his circular arguments were going nowhere, and let's be honest, it pretty much was just entertainment. We weren't getting anywhere and the discussions were only enlivened when he came up with something so totally off the wall that we could all have a real good chortle. When I left the thread a few weeks ago, Chris was still my favorite lovable whacko. Sort of our own Rev. Jim Ignatowski.

Earlier in the day, today, I posted a traditional, "Hey Chris, you're a whacko" message on another thread, and I'm sure there have been one or two others as he showed up unannounced in a few other CT threads, recently. I had not seen the four thousand post thread in a while, and tonight, looking for something on another topic, I went back in. I truly had not seen the transition that took place in mid-September! I think the guy lost it, coincidentally around 9/11 or maybe just decided to let all his monsters out from under the bed after carrying on his singular minded crusade for almost four months.

Here's just a sample:

Quote:
My point is that formal oral histories of ancient earth are traditionally kept with hypnosis wherein the circadian rhythm is exploited (pioneered by the circassians) used also by the Masonic Order who has been infiltrated through its oral histories and turned against it's higher purposes or used to create towers built to demolish.

I know you won't want to understand that but pretending you don't won't look good.
There are dozens of other posts along similar and wilder themes. Evidently Chris believes we've all been unconsciously (not sub-consciously) hypnotized into believing just about everything we believe or perceive to be real. Apparently he's the only one who's found the way around the problem, and is on a crusade to (in 4000 posts) show us the light. This is not a joke. I don't pretend that my posts are famous, but for the few of you who may recognize me, I'm quite facetious rather often. This is not tongue in cheek. You can investigate the thread if you haven't seen the transition.

Any number of senior posters have declared "hands off" now on that thread. I am joining them in the sentiment. I'm only sorry I hadn't gone back in earlier.

Chris, I would like to second the opinion stated by several others. This is no longer fun. Christopher A. Brown is seriously delusional and needs help. And I want to apologize to you, Chris. Kicking the canes out from under cripples is not a sport! Please, please, take the sincere advice of R. Mackey and others. You obviously know how to get in touch with public services in your area. There are people out there who are more able than any of us smartasses to get you into a program of diagnosis and analysis.

We are as serious about this advice, just as we were sincere about our arguments when we thought you were a trouble making troll. We don't really wish ill (or illness) on anyone, and feel you need to seek professional help.

Forum Mods - I think this (if it doesn't just die off) probably should be in Forum Community, but I'm not intentionally mis-posting here, as I believe the initial audience should be on the CT board.

I haven't been a part of the threads in question, but that quote is unbelievable. You have obviously had more contact with him. Is it possible that he is just pulling your (collective) leg? I would feel so much better if that were the case.

If you browse around his own site, starting here:

http://algoxy.com/missingknowledge/

you can get a feel for why many of us think that Chris' claims are the product of delusional beliefs.

He's been at this for years, posting much of the same material in essentially the same language on various forums. He has several websites set up covering a wide array of weirdness, there is online documentation of his bizarre behaviors and his struggle with mental illness. It's no joke. And even if it were, obsessively repeating the same bizarre joke over several years even though you're the only one laughing would be just as abnormal.

One tiny example:

That is some of the craziest stuff I've ever seen.

And I don't mean crazy like the CT's normal "I beleive stupid stuff because I like the attention and the rebellion, and I like feeling superior to you and you and you" nonsense.

But that is just seriously padded room deranged.

I mean, thats crazy on a whole other scale.

He said on the other thread that he was permanentally kicked out of school at age 13 and that, thereafter, he was "self taught" - so the Christopher Todd Brown graduating from university cannot be him.

The guy accused of selling body parts cannot be him either, given his admitted lack of education.

I think his point in including those clippings is that "they" are trying to "confuse his identity" by publishing articles about other people who happen to share the same first and last name as him. Not that that makes any sense, but...

I think this one sums it up best. The Santa Barbara Dept. of Mental Health is going to close his account if he doesn't pay within 10 days. (Not 22 days?!)

[ETA] Just look at how many notices there are for delinquent payments. Why would he put all this on the net?

I forget what the date was when UCSB told me I was accepted. Might have been a 22nd, but I can't tell due to my brains having leaked from my face.

As before, I remain skeptical that a person can be expelled from or simply leave the public school system. There would have to be a next step and steps after that, considering his minor status.

Also, I'd hardly take as gospel anything he claims on a forum.

Who knows? Tt's only speculation at this point, isn't it?

If I were really interested, I'd go in search of Christopher Todd (or T.) Brown.

Who says he does? He could be a vagrant typing away at a library/public/Haagendas(1) terminal.

(1) Yes, they have public computers in some of their ice cream shops.(2)
(2) Specifically, Navy Pier.(3)
(3) Yes, I realize I probably spelled Haagendas wrong.

The saddest bit of all things christophera can be summed up in one sentence fragment:

Quote:
making a better world for his two children.
I feel worse for his children than for him. He is living happily-ever-paranoid in his own delusions. His children are probably Earth bound in a sad reality.

On a lighter note, I did get quite a chuckle out of:

Quote:
Argus had one hundred eyes or maybe a thousand.

The Argus could only sleep with two eyes at a time, or 50, or 98. Something like that.

Medusa had 30 snakes or maybe a billion on her head. Medusa slept with two snakes awake, or 690, or 150,968. Something like that.
