Mind over video game?

Isn't this like one of the most important inventions ever?

I mean wow the possibilities.

It IS a tremendous thing.

I can imagine that you could expand the skills to include complex three-dimensional movements - for surgeons to control robotic arms, etc, as well as playing video games. Perhaps even train people to type without hands; cover off all the letters, and perhaps a small dictionary of common words.

I can't wait. Productise the headset and make it wireless. I'll be first in line for the neural implants!

Surely it's not really an invention as much as a refinement of measuring technology.

And, at the risk of sounding a bit cynical and grumpy, do we really need a technological application that allows for teenagers to do yet less physical activity?

Never mind tongue movement, now we have virtual tongue movement?

Don't mind me, I'm just annoyed VR never happened like we were promised.
