TV Station Sponsoring Senate Debate Shows "Dancing With The Stars" Instead

http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/new...D+%22debate%22

Quote:
The debate, which is scheduled to kick off at 7 tonight in Kansas City, won't be broadcast until Thursday. The reason for the delay: The station sponsoring the event, KMBC-TV, didn't want to anger viewers of the popular television show "Dancing with the Stars."
You gotta love it!

Now, a baseball game, okay, I could see postponing it for that.

Hey, last night's show was a political issue. Sarah Evans' soon-to-be ex-husband is a fundraiser for the Republican party and heavy-duty into 'putting religion back into the Constitution'. They had an interview with her. Not with him, though.

It's only a matter of time before we have "Dancing with the Senators"

Come on, you know you want to see Rick Santorum trip the light fantastick with celebrity guest Anna Nicole Smith.

Tucker Carlson started the season.

He has no rhythm.

You left out the husband's alleged transgressions.

I think the implication here is that people realize that the politicions will say nothing of substance (and when they do, it will be a lie), so they would rather watch something else, no matter how brain dead. And I think they are right.

As far as I remember from the AOL article:

- Adultery
- Email/chat searching for sexual partners
- Sexually explicit pictures of himself with another lady

He has stated that Sarah has changed over the past few years and the divorce is due to her emotional state.

He did look dapper with his Pee Wee Herman bowtie though.

I felt very sorry for his dance partner.
