Hospital overrun with Mary worshippers

Boston Globe story

Quote:
Overrun with worshipers praying before a likeness of the Virgin Mary in a third-story window, Milton Hospital officials have asked the Archdiocese of Boston to caution people against placing faith in the image, a church official confirmed yesterday.

Word of the likeness, which hospital officials say is made by a chemical deposit inside a sealed window, began to spread last week. Over the weekend, more than 25,000 people crowded onto the grounds to see it, officials said.
I'm having new windows installed in my house soon. Can I order special "Mary windows"?

It was on the local news last night. Hundreds of people coming every evening. The hospital asked people to come between 6pm and 9pm. Catholic priests having serious discussions about the meaning of condensation in a broken window. People praying with rosary beads. Little children talking about god. Oh Lord in Heaven.

I can make them for you

The evil marketer in me imagines installing windows like this in a restaurant and serving fish and loaves of bread.

Does this answer my question about who would win in a fight; the Virgin Mary, or Mr. Clean?

Bad marketer. You would sell one loaf and one fish.

What is it about that Mary? She never wants to appear in person. Once I thought I saw her in the clouds, but it looked a little more like Pamela Anderson... I began to laugh when I realized my mistake... boy was my face red.

After 2000+ years, why do biblical people still appear wearing the same obscuring flowing robes? I would think Mary would get herself a smart dress suit and some stylish but sensible shoes.

This isnt too far from me... Anyone remember the parapalegic girl from Worcester that they carried around to heal people? I guess the results werent too hot- everyone has stopped talking about her. Sheesh, and we Northerners consider ourselves better than the evangelists of the deep South?
