LC Forum back up

And everything was cleared, so previously banned IP addresses are gone.

This is an interesting early thread:

No surprise. I haven't seen any evidence that he's ever had an original thought or idea in his life thusfar.

That's one thing I wasn't ever able to understand about LC.

Avery didn't ask for permission for any graphics, footage, pictures, anything when he first made the "documentary." He basically just put it all together and put it online, right? He received numerous cease and decist letters from organizations and individuals, but somehow it survived. That sounds like the conspiracy to me.

Even with his little disclaimer he has now.

Oh, and about having to register to view the forum, sounds like a numbers ploy to me.

Avery can go around bragging, "Oh, we have X number of people registered at the forum." But, how many are hardcore posters and believers in the "troof?" And how many just registered because they want to read the wackiness first hand?

On the plus side, how many "undecideds" are going to bother registering? I suspect this means that the forum will mostly only be read by skeptics and true believers.

Is there any chance that the resurrection of the LC forum means that we will lose some of our more annoying conspiraloons here?

I only ask because I'm starting to find this forum too depressing to visit. For months after I started coming here I found it interesting, educational, occasionally very funny, and full of intelligent points well-argued and well-written.

Recently it seems like we're just constantly fighting back a tide of idiocy put forward by the likes of Killtown and Puberty. Their sort of gibberish and nonsense was quite amusing when posted elsewhere - as long as I could come here and feel cleansed by reading some comparative common sense, but now it seems the waters here have been polluted also.

I'm not usually in favour of banning, but I sure wish they'd go away.

Hmmm... I am aware the Naudet Brothers took the cease and desist approach, but I haven't heard about any of the others taking similar action.

I could be wrong, of course. I haven't really looked into it.

I recently added a "citation needed" tag to the Wikipedia entry on LC, because the introduction states that the next version of LC has been delayed because of copyright concerns. Copyright has never bothered these guys before, and Dylan is on record as stating that LC3 is nowhere near being finished. Doesn't sound like copyright problems to me...

Interesting thread at the new LC

"Popeholden" started an interesting thread asking if skeptics will automatically be banned.

Re: The New Forums, will people be banned for opinions?

Popeholden Posted: Oct 19 2006, 05:29 PM

For instance, if i happen to not believe in the conspiracy, and post evidence toward this end, but i do it respectfully and nicely, am i going to be banned?

i'm sure you know this forum has a pretty bad track record of stifling dissent, and i'd like to think a community of truth seekers wouldn't mind the presentation of a different opinion, as long as it's presented in a respectful manner.

if i am banned, i would very much appreciate an e-mail message explaining exactly what i've done wrong.

will people who insult me or accuse me of being a government agent be punished accordingly?

Some replies...

"...the point I'm simply trying to make is this. People who already have their mind made up about their views on 9/11 have no real place in a 9/11 Truth Forum. What legitimate purpose do you serve the members of this board if you provide nothing but the opposite."

"Maybe you could ask yourselve, if it is not also a 'conspiracy theory' when one claimes,
that 19 amateurs with boxcutters manage to highjack 4 jetliners and cruise around in the
best protected airspace of all times and also manage then to hit 3/4 of their targets,
including the nerve-center of the mightiest miltary force of the planet whithout even
ONE F-16 appearing at the horizon? Hello? I mean: Boxcutters!
As Prof. Fetzer said: Americans are fairly agressive. Imagine 4 Arabs with boxcutters in a
plane full of Americans... They would have beaten them to death with their luggage."

This last poster, "Victoria" pretty much sums it up.

"I think you shouldn't put anything that has to do with skeptics here.I think this is all about the TRUTH, we shouldn't be talking about something else than that."

Sheesh.

Ahh but what if the TRUTH is that the Truth Movement is FALSE??

Really, this house of cards that Dylan et al have built has already been "pulled" by Mr. Realitystein. But they still have their delusional mindset to keep them warm.

LC freedom from truth policy

Quote:
"I think you shouldn't put anything that has to do with skeptics here.I think this is all about the TRUTH, we shouldn't be talking about something else than that."
This one statement if made in to LC forum rules, will essecially ban all those who believe the LC video from posting on the LC forum?

LC forum shut down today after all posting was suspended for lack of truth. Do we need to wait until Dylan finally tells everyone his work of fiction is still a work of fiction or does he think he can sell another 100,000 DVDs?

Who buys his DVDs?

Thanks for the post on the insides of a not so first admentment run site!

now I need to read how to post quotes and cite the proper poster

what if LC released a movie of JUST footage from 9/11? riddled with first hand interviews from people covered in pulverized concrete, could that footage and first hand accounts be "debunked"?

Part of the problem is that I "dared" a wise ass truther to come over here, as I felt it would be a good place for him to argue his points on 9/11. Little did I know his only reason for coming here was to antagonize and causes shaite. I will not make the mistake again. He has been suspened, and when he returns, he says he is going to be on best behaviour, but says he will report anyone who is not.

My guess is that Do Over will soon find out how few followers LC has and will resort to the artificial numbers from the old forum rather than rely upon the current figures which will only show that - oops - only a few dozen, maybe a few hundred eventually, can even be bothered to look at the LC forums. That's pretty poor considering that the LC crew likes to cite the "millions" of downloads of their farcical video (in all of its pathetic recreations).

Sure, it got some semi-impressive numbers in the old days before their tripe was debunked so thoroughly, (and if you ignore the fact that every time someone clicks on a youtube link, even inadvertently, it counts as a download, and if you ignore the fact that every troofer has clicked on said links at least a hundred times each) but a careful look at their "membership" included a huge proportion that never posted a single post and a huge proportion that were probably debunkers who were banned.

Now that LC has shot its wad, I don't think that it will ever attract anywhere near the number of "signups" that it did in the past.

That's why I think they'll revert to and try to use their "old" numbers once they realize how ineffective, how marginalized and how lame they really are to the vast majority of the population of the planet. Reality is just too damned painful to them.

Lash, are those acre-size slabs in your avatar? (Love the sig line from Troofy!)

That board's going to scare away the kidz! Too much b.s. security! They'll be lucky if they get many who'll go past the first screen. There's nothing there to attract a newbie except a bunch of notices that you need to register. How many paranoid pimply pre-pubescents are going to want to let the NWO get all their details, dude?

Should I play along? Or stomp them all over the place?

And oh... from the LC forum:

Today's Birthdays
1 member is celebrating his/her birthday today
pdoherty76(30)

Wasn't it poverty79? Allthough poverty97 seems more plausible.

Quote:
9-11 is connected to the Illuminati Because The Illuminti is simply another term for pure Evil, it is just the word for the people on the physical reality that carry out and cause the evil. 911 was pure evil, and it got the illuminati further in their plan to massively prevent humanity from evolving and becoming spiritual and become one, instead it kept/keeps us in a constant state of fear and prevents us from becoming what humanity has the ability to become. Their entire goal is to stop us from evolving IMO.
Chris is posting over there?
