Cloned sheep death

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...oning_sheep_dc

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australia's first cloned sheep has died despite being in apparent good health, but any chance of getting to the root of the mysterious death was lost when its decomposing carcass was cremated.
...
"She was very healthy, and very sprightly...on the day she died," Lewis told Reuters.

"There was nothing that was grossly obvious in the organs and outer body. The body's been cremated because it was in a very bad state. To be quite honest, it was clearly pongy (smelly), very pongy."

they cremated the body!!!!

What were they thinking!!!! They cremated the body, when one of the big science questions of the day is the health of cloned mammals!!!!!! Trust me, they've autopsied some pretty rank animals, to me this is just plain bad science.

I think you mean "baaad science."

Seriously, what WERE they thinking? Post-mortem examinations of clones don't happen every day.

They clearly had something to hide.
Maybe the animal was an alien or a dangerous mutant.
