Karaoke anyone?

There's something appealing about being thousads of miles from anybody who you might not want to look foolish in front of.

That said. I'll probably still not pluck up enough courage to sing in front of other people.

I was going to do karaoke, but I decided to poke myself in the eye with a sharp stick instead.

I'm so down for karaoke, you don't even know. It gets the chicks hot.

I've been through Marine Corps Boot Camp, Black Belt testing, et al, and doing karaoke the first time is still one of the most difficult things I've ever done. I have done it a few times since. I can carry a tune well enough, but I applaud those that get up there and make a real effort, no matter how they sound.

And you are not allowed to criticize the singer unless you've actually done it yourself!

Apparently there is Karaoke on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

I'll also bring a sharp stick.

Depending upon the amount of booze present and the amount of free time I have, I'd be up for it. Not necessarily the singing, but the supporting/mocking.

When you sing, you will be issued with a ticket. This will entitle you to 15 minutes of mocking. Should you mock beyond this period, you will have to sing "Wuthering Heights" by Kate Bush, with all of the appropriate dance movements.

For those of you too young or distant to be familair with the piece:

I won't need the stick, because I won't be within 100 yards of the "singing".

I drop a pretty mean 'Rubber Biscut' that usually ends up with me doing 4 or 5 free shots afterward.

oohhhhh, karaoke. I heart karaoke. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I don't need any prompting to karaoke...

Naturalhealth: No. This can be done for all remedies.

I wrote new, skepchick lyrics for the song Redneck Woman. (I have a VERY long commute, plenty of time to think about dumb s***) I am totally going to sing it at karaoke during TAM (unless I get too scared)

Hey, I have a regular Karaoke guy I've been singing with for 3 years. He sets up shop on Thursday night and goes till like 3am over at Dino's past the Stratosphere. The bartender is nice and it's really homey and fun...

I suspect they don't do Karaoke at the riviera any more. I can't find any reference to it on the web site, and the bar where I thought they did it now appears to be under partial reconstruction.

If anyone has located an alternative venue, post to this thread!
