Close Up Card Magic

For anyone interested....

I will bring my copy of Harry Lorayne's Close Up Card Magic to TAM V. It's the hard back Tannen's version.

I will exchange it for the recipient relinquishing his/her right to chuck rotten fruit and vegetables at me as I do a card trick. Alternatively, you can buy me a beer.

CUCM is considered a "classic" in card magic. I'm willing to give it up because my wife gave me Lorayne's Classic Collection, which includes the edited version of CUCM, for Christmas.

If you're interested or want more details, let me know.

If I was going I would take you up on it.

Stay tuned. You might get it anyway.

Heck, if it were that easy, I'd have asked for it. But firecoins spoke up first, so I reluctantly, bitterly, vehemently, petulently, and quite immaturely withdraw any claim I have.

I could start a bidding war.

I'll set a deadline for January 15, 8 PM EST for anyone going to TAM to claim it.

If it's left unclaimed, I may just ask for a reasonable fee to cover postage and "handling".

Sound fair?

Eminently. I bid exactly 1 penny more than firecoins up to my unstated maximum.

Seriously, though, fairness is not required, and I have no actual need of it, so work something out with firecoins if your 15 Jan deadline passes. If you can't work something out with him, let me know and I'm back in.

Gah! This is what I get for not signing up to the forums until after we got to TAM and only now do I have the time (I'm exhausted but can't sleep) to go through these.

If there's a bidding war going on, please consider the TAM5 person who ate too much chocolate and took way too many photos. If you like one, once I post them, I'll give you an 8x10 or two in exchange for the book. How's that for an offer?

Right now, firecoins has the right of first refusal. If he declines, Garrette is next in line. After that it's fair game.

I actually don't need it, so I'll cede my place in line to molly

If you lose this one and really want the book, it's $17.00 here (figure another $5 for shipping and that's still $3 to $10 cheaper than most other places:
