Next weekend (1/27)

Apologies for not being on here much lately... I have to take periodic breaks from this.

It appears some troofers may show up next weekend in DC. Not sure/doubt they will actually get many to come out. Especially, if the weather is like it is now, but nonetheless, I may check it out and be on hand with some debunking materials. If anyone wants to join me, please do.

Before, I've said I don't care if they show up here... doesn't bother me as much as the folks showing up at GZ. But, still annoying. And, the usual political cause leafletters (a pet peeve of mine) here all the time are rather annoying, but if I see anyone handing out 911troofer crap, things might get heated.

The main day for the troofers appears to be next Saturday, 1/27 on the National mall. May be just a few of them, like this picture on the dc911truth.org site, or some ny911truthers might be joining them.

I think they are a bit hopeful, " If enough people contact the washington Post, Maybe, Just maybe they might cover this event. --sleepy2k16"

They are trying to attach themselves to the anti-war protests next weekend:

Here's some more info on their efforts to latch onto the peace movement.

Quote:
Look for the dc911truth table on the mall, at the end of the mall nearest the Capitol, near the American Indian Museum.(see map) We will have DVDs, flyers, information cards, buttons, banners, books, magazines, newspapers and all sorts of 9/11truth materials. Look for the black and red dc911truth.org banner, the 911ShareTheTruth table or any of the many other 9/11truth tables.

On Saturday evening, dc911truth.org will host a movie and speakers forum at the Takoma Park City Hall, three blocks north of the Takoma Park Metro Station.

On Sunday morning, 911truth.org will host a full breakfast event at Capitol City Brewery, in the historic office of the Postmaster General right next to Union Station, blocks from the Capitol. Craig Hill, 911Truth, Green Party candidate for Senate from VT will speak.
Deluxe breakfast is $25

Anyone want to join me?

This might be much ado about nothing, but I will certainly go check out their "table" next weekend.

By "check out", did you mean "punch them" and by "their 'table'", did you mean "in the nose"?

I would advise against it, it won't change their minds and you'll just end up with a criminal record.

I'd love to, but I'll be visiting my older brother in Yorktown. Also, I can't stand those people. They make my skin crawl.

I'll have to try hard to keep my cool if I see them leafletting around here on Friday. People here, in downtown DC, are not at all receptive to leafletters. Might be better for them to try leafletting at the Pentagon.

I wish I could go, but there's no way I would be able to make it next weekend...

Amen to that. It's like everyone thinks, "Hey, if we pass out leaflets, that'll get us noticed!" Not a chance. Protesters, truthers, activists, etc are all in competition with the guy I met today at the Woodley Park Metro station handing out pamphlets about why the world was going to end on February 15th. And he was one of the good ones...

DC natives have been leafleted to death. But you know what hasn't been done often enough? Naked protests. That's something I'd actually pay to see in January.

Didn't seen any troofers today

Sometimes I go for a run after work, today went by the White House, FBI headquarters, and other government buildings, as well as a bunch of metro stations. No troofers anywhere. It was pretty cold... maybe too cold for them.

Probably will still stop by their table tomorrow, but not sure how long I'll stick around. I'm curious what turnout they will get.

Gee's Debunk,

If I were you I would be VERY careful being around people like those 9/11 conspiracist cnuts. There is no knowing what those desperates would do to you if they got the chance?

I'd also be especially careful of those morons that turn up at GZ, one day one of them might just be packing something sharp!

^^ I would love it if that happened, but they won't damage themselves because it isn't the real truth and they wouldn't care if it went either way.

As for the protest, did it even happen? Did the 6 people from the LC forums that kiss Dylan's ass show up?

There would definately be shrinkage, though.
