Robert:

Just wanted to add my cheers and congratulations to the others.

I was extremely impressed with your paper at TAM4. When I got home, I devoured the entire StopKaz site, and I was even MORE impressed with how fair and factual the entire site was. You just put all the facts out there and let people make up their own minds.

Reading your report was a thrill. It must have been an entirely awesome week. (And, unfortunately, it sounds like you missed a whole chunk of the TAM speakers).

But I agree - next year, you deserve space on the main stage. We couldn't attend TAM this year, but I'll be looking forward to the next TAM.

ETA - never mind

Great work Russell (that's an in-joke between me and RSL that the rest of you can't share, so gerroff).

I think it's probably worth investing some of those dollars in a cheap laptop with wireless capability though, as the Riv Wifi charges were about $10 for the room

Wish I'd known you needed internet access, there were loads of people with laptops who had paid for WiFi in their rooms

Looking forward to the next stage (as has been predicted, perhaps the retirement of Ms Browne?). Keep up the awesome work!

Here's a prediction: When Sylvia Browne retires she will claim it is to recharge her spent energies or some such nonsense, she will not give credit to Mssrs. Randi and Lancaster for exposing her actions to public light.

Robert , you were on my "must meet " list for months before TAM- even before you began the SB site. I was honoured to shake your substantial paw.
(The 55c was actually 40c, by the way. I thought we had to add sales tax to everything ).

The combination of unremitting politeness and withering detail you have brought to both the Kaz and the SB sites is powerful. The lady seems to be on the back foot right now. Isn't it great that boy turned up alive - and wouldn't it be appropriate if the parents could sue SB into bankruptcy?

Thanks for the background details of what was going on at TAM. The atmosphere in the conference room , the evening of the Anderson Cooper show is a memory I will treasure.

Thanks for sharing your memories of the week with us RSL. It really helps us poor unfortunates who can't attend feel like we're part of TAM.

Oh, I am using one of your quips from a post you made here last Summer as my new sig. - hope you don't mind!

It's hard to remember a week that was that full of surreal experiences, that's for sure! And thanks for the kind words.

I really enjoyed your talk last year on Kaz, (and even wrote about it on my skeptical blog), and I am really proud of what you've done with the fraud Sylvia Browne. It's a testament to what one individual can do with the connections all of us have made through the JREF and through TAMs. Great job!

Thanks so much RSL, for letting us live the glory with you. I was as pleased as can be, and felt like I was in on the biggest scoop ever--

I think this will have powerful rippling effects--and combined with James Randi's changes to the challenge, I think we skeptics have much to look forward to this year. I wonder how many new members we got at the JREF website since the CNN interview. It's all over the web.

Congratulations--I think a lot of eyes were opened, and a lot of skeptical seeds were planted.

RSL,

I saw your CNN performance and thought that you spoke very well. You seemed calm and collected, even though your heart must have been racing!

Great job!

Rob, you know how much kudos I give you, man, starting with Kaz as a warm-up. So from downunder, a great big YOU *****' BEWDIE MATE!

But folks, this is just the start, not the end. Sylvia won't go down without a fight, we are sure of that. Unlike Kaz who was a lightweight, Sylvia needs to be pursued relentlessly, and not just by Rob but by skeptics and fair-minded people all. Rob is just the spearhead - we need to help him out as much as we can and be the spear, any way we can, not just with money.

And the way to take down Sylvia Browne is publicity - publicity exposing her tawdry act and behaviour, as Rob and Randi have just done. Girl_6 and Rebecca have their respective audiences focused, and I'm aware that other fora have seen fit to give Rob airtime too. Can we do more? I'm sure we all know somehow somewhere we can do our bit to spread the word.

So don't just sit back and watch Rob fight the lone fight - get in there and help him!

Wow! Just... wow!

I know, I'm late jumping on this one - been busy playing CoH all weekend, you know. But I just saw the CNN spot on YouTube and... WOW!

Great, great work, Robert! BTW - I'm sure you're aware of this already - StopSylviaBrowne.com ranks fourth on a Google search for 'sylvia browne', just behind the Wiki entry and two of the slime's own website spots. That's not too shabby! And the YouTube segment is on the front page, too... Ya can't beat that!

Maybe it's almost time for a 'StopMontelWilliams.com' site? heh

I can just see the situation in fifty years, at the RLEF website (Lancaster.org)...

"We're offering $1,000,000,000,000 to any psychic or spiritualist who can survive our '10 Fatal Tests' challenge! Just accurately predict which fatal trap you are about to face, ten times in a row...."

Ah, dream the good dream, eh?

Yes, the help, support and encouragement I've gotten from JREF and the forum in particular, has been key.

Had someone written all of that week into a movie, nobody would believe it. It was just too perfect!

I was an odd combination of nervous as hell and very calm. Luckily, the calm part was on the outside!

How about it? Keep good records for a few years and then you can get someone to make a movie plus a book about you and your efforts.

While I think of it how about updating your other website (stopKes)? To let everyone know she is no longer active, partly due to your efforts.

Yes, I keep meaning to go back and do some updates to the site, but with Kaz laying low, and with all there is left to do on the SSB site, I just haven't gotten around to it!

I downloaded both, but have only looked at the first one - it was great! I was able to show my fiancee the crowd reaction, which was nice. Except, you cut it off just before the applause!

Thanks again for putting those together.
