I got to hand it to Merc and co; they are a gold mine of comedy and stupid.

A tree, yes a tree was used to conceal the fly over, don’t believe me?

I contacted the rep at Brickman who handles the Doubletree account, a really helpful guy named Todd Thompson.

I simply told him I am a journalist/documentary filmaker (which I am now, I guess) and wanted to determine validity of a doubletree security video, specifically the tree in it and whether it was added or not. He told me they did a full landscaping job 4-5 years ago. But he couldn't remember whether they removed any or whether there were trees or not.

So I sent him the still of the video with the date photoshopped out you see above, and told him the frame was early fall of 2001.

He wrote back and sent me some attachments.

Obviously this is probably Jan/Feb 2002 as there are no leaves on the tree. (Anybody needs a larger version, PM with your e-mail for the attachment Todd sent me)

So now we can surmise that they chose this location specifically to hide the flyover and lied about the Sheraton and Citgo cameras and video:

Maybe it’s just me but this fly over get more and more complex with each passing day. Now of all things those who planned and carried out mass murder were relying totally on a tree to cover their tracks. I mean wow, just wow

A high class and well thought out post by none other than Terrorcell. When presented with a solid eye witness’s account, from somebody that was there and saw Flight 77 hit the Pentagon.

Overall, I really don't know how to respond to him; he thinks the piece is white and it is not. Short of having that lady mail it to him, there's really no way to prove it one way or the other.

Actually, it is at the National Museum of American History on the Mall in Washington, DC., not in Ms. Elgas' personal possession.

I was thinking it could be a part from just under the window or the front part of the wing. (I also didn't forgot that on the net color can get screwed up.Doh!)

No, its definitely from an exterior panel. It looks like its made of the standard nomex/kevlar/graphite fiber that most of the composite panels are made from. And the screw holes are too numerous for it to be from anything on the interior.

I can categorically state that we go to a lot of effort to avoid them! Many a day I have sat around for an hour or so waiting for a contrail to dissipate so we could take a shot.

The part looks like a wing tip, with the light gone. It even looks like something the wing tip would be made of. The wing tips look white on a lot of AA planes, some do look gray. Did one lamp post go sideways? So much crap for so few idiots who come up with reasons why hundreds of people are now liars, not real witnesses.

Yeah, its the standard Boeing light gray that most all composite parts are painted. Its pretty obvious to me that its gray, does anyone else think its white? I've tried explaining to honway that light colors can look lighter or darker than they really are depending on light, exposure, etc...he just won't hear it.

It looks like its made of the standard nomex/kevlar/graphite fiber that most of the composite panels are made from. And the screw holes are too numerous for it to be from anything on the interior. Its pretty obvious to me that its gray, does anyone else think its white? I've tried explaining to honway that light colors can look lighter or darker than they really are depending on light, exposure, etc...he just won't hear it.
