about.com has a forum dedicated to magic and illusion.

It is smaller than the magic cafe forums, but the past threads have some good information regarding routines, scripts, ideas for effects, etc. It is currently moderatorless, as they are in the process of replacing the past one, who just left after a couple years or more because he was finding it hard to devote enough time to it.

Any magician would be a welcome poster or lurker.

Also, if anyone is near Austin, TX, the local SAM - Assembly 206 - meets on the third Monday of each month and anyone passing through give me a yell.
