Magician Wanted - NZSkeptics Conf '07

I've been asked by the NZSkeptics to do a talk on the history of magic and to do a brief mentalism routine for the 2007 Conference. (21-23 Sept, in Christchurch, NZ)

Unfortunately - I've been very busy (and I'm a lazy-ass slacker) and I haven't got anything to a point where I feel confidant performing or presenting in front of a group of hard-assed skeptics.

So - the question is, is there anyone in NZ, travelling to NZ, or interested in coming to NZ, who would be willing to do a talk, perform some magic, or help me with either or both?

This sounds cool and - wouldn't you know it - it's right in my hometown. I'll be there and I promise I won't grill ya too hard

I wish there was something I could offer by way of assistance, but if it's any consolation, I'll buy ya a beer afterwards.

I see. So you just piped up to say that you can't help in anyway at all, but that you'll be there to make things difficult? Thanks for that...

ETA: Oh - and I don't drink. I'll take you up on a coke though.
