NW (USA) Magic Jamboree

Who's going? Anyone? I just registered so you can have the privilege of meeting me while you're there.

I love myself.

How'd it go? Give us a few details, Ken.

The only convention I plan to attend is the East Coast Super Session in September.

It was great. I learned quite a few things and took some very good tips about misdirection from it. Mac King, Dave Williamson and John Carney put on hilarious shows on their own and then all of them participated in a "Mr Misto" show at the end. I don't think I've ever laughed continuously for 90 minutes in my life until then. It hurt.

Anyway, the lectures were pretty good and fun. My favorite was Dave Williamson's lecture which had the theme "laymen are the enemy." He is a very, VERY funny guy and great to listen to. I'm definitely going to try and attend next year. I'm hooked.
