Syndicate SWIFT ?

I'm not sure how it would be done, but I think it could be interesting if Randi got SWIFT syndicated to run on the editorial page of many of the nation's newspaper. Not the whole SWIFT, but just the most interesting story each week.

Could that be done? Would people find it interesting?

Unfortunately, the answer to those two questions are No and No.

I think you'll find that the choice for that type of thing is over to the editors of the newspapers rather than Randi choosing to do so.

Whether those editors would want to do so, the answer is demonstrably no, or they'd be ringing Randi, asking to post his commentary.

The reason it isn't being done is because scepticism and reality aren't saleable topics. How often does Randi appear on national TV compared to the most-famous dozen psychics in USA? How many newspapers print horoscopes in them?

Don't piss me off more than needed. I'm already angered enough by this.

needs moar exposure, psychics need to spend some quality time in jail.

If you feel a psychic has broken law(s), you should report them to the proper law enforcement agency.

Ooh look, a religious one!

How appropriate.

Whereas psychics generate lots of publicity and get on tv, sceptics get on tv occasionally, but churches? They pay to get on tv.

Why should I have to? *sigh*

P.S. I know horoscopes are in every teen magazine here in Norway. I cannot believe people still fall for that ****. Just pick a random entry and read it to yourself. I am sure it will fit you perfectly.

Is SWIFT copyrighted? What are the terms of the copyright? How restrictive is the copyright?

Bound to be coyrighted, but I'm sure Randi would happily allow people to copy it, if they were giving it more publicity.

If you want detail, Jeff will be the one to ask.

The Atheist is right , newspapers would rather print stuff about spoon benders and psychics than well considered science . The recent ************ about MMR vacines are a case in point . Newspapers these days are about entertainment as the owner of the Times said when printing the ' Hitler Diaries ' .
