Time to start a new religion!

Wasn't 'Jedi' almost a religion in Australia?

That's clearly Santa.

Or looks like Jesus has put on a few pounds.

I don't know about you but it looks like Buddha to me. Or the Davy Jones character in Pirates of the Carribean. Or like an anime character.

When did Chewbacca mate with the cowardly lion from Wizard of Oz?

No, it really wasn't.

An e-mail was sent around the world in 2001 saying that if 10,000 people declared they were Jedi, it would be recognised as an official religion. But the Australian Bureau of Statistics said it would be categorised as "not defined".
It never had a hope of becoming an "official" religion - it was just what a pile of people entered on their Census forms.

And even those crazy Poms merely recoded their database to allow for it. That doesn't make it "official".

Fine by me. I'd much rather be 'Gallifreyan' anyway...

Isn't that a nationality, rather than a religion?

He's very, very, very clearly wearing a neat-looking helmet. He's also for some reason sticking out his tongue.

But no, it's not Jesus.

But with really cool vehicles. *Much* better than anything a Jedi could get.
