Degree in creation science, minor in "alternative" physics

(First posted on pharyngula)

Seems some guy founded a school delivering degrees of "Creation Science". Yes, maybe he's not alone, but he offers much more interesting things besides:

Quote:
* Creational Healing: We develop a new kind of healing method.
* Electrical Engineering: We develop and use a new kind of semiconductor technology mainly based on silicon, copper and oxygen, and we search for new energy systems, etc.
* Minor-System-Technology: This environmentally sustainable technology uses a minimum of resources to solve problems perfectly.
* Polycultural Engineering: We develop a new kind of agriculture based on balanced ecological systems.
* Spacecraft Engineering: We develop minor probes and new kinds of drives using principles of alternative physics. The far distant goal is to develop and to realize a generation spaceship for a God-fearing community.
* Theological Cosmology: Research of the deeper knowledge in astronomy and exobiology.
* Mathematics: Research of the deeper knowledge in holistic mathematics.
* Theology: Practicing and teaching of down-to-earth Christianity based on the Holy Bible.

"alternative" physics... Is that like "alternative" medicine ? Prayer-propulsion spacecraft ? Spacecraft that you will use only if you can't prove they can fly ? Or considerably worse, land (as opposed to crash) ?

What about "holistic" mathematics ?

It's where you consider the "complete" number and it's associated psychological, spiritual, and emotional needs instead of only the mathematical operation/s at hand.

Or something like that, anyway.

Just in case folk were unaware of it, here's a link to David Colquhoun's website, where he discusses BSc degrees in homeopathy at British universities:

Maybe they'll use astrology for navigation...

Personally, I support the effort to great a generation ship for God-fearing peoples. Once they're gone I might be able to get some peace and quiet.

Oh don't worry. Once we get rid of all the Christians the Muslims will be in the majority and life will be wonderful for us atheists.

Yeah, maybe it's a sort of numerology, like, you know, the sign of the beast being 666... I'm sure I saw a nutty website discussing all sorts of numbers relating to the bible, I can't find it back...

But I'm sure holistic mathematics considers imaginary numbers to be the work of the Devil.

Yes, I was wondering what the educational background is for the person (people?) behind this "school."

Nah... I don't think so. If the christians get their generation ship, the muslims (which also have their own brand of creationists) will want to have one too. They wont let space be entirely colonized by imperialist christians, will they ?

What? They don't fear God too? We'll just build them a ship of their own.
