Has anyone heard of Robert M. Best?

I want to buy Noah's Ark and the Ziusudra Epic: Sumerian Origins of the Flood Myth by Robert M. Best (published by Enlil Press).

It's sold on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Noahs-Ark-Zius...9623690&sr=8-1

And described here:
http://www.noahs-ark-flood.com/

However, I can't find any information about Mr. Best or Enlil Press. I can't even find an "about the author" section on the books website, which seem suspicious. The book looks well-researched, but I am no expert on ancient Mesopotamia. Is this a reliable book, or the work of some lone crackpot?

I haven't read the book, but there was a Discovery or Science Channel show that covered it. IIRC, it was based on the assumption that the flood myth was based on actual events, just bastardized a bit in the retelling.. like a game of "telephone". Apparently, Noah's Ark was actually a commercial barge (full of beer!) swept out into the Red Sea by a flood on the Euphrates.

The show was interesting... but offered scant evidence to back up the claims. The book is several years old... buy a used copy to avoid feeling so ripped off!
