The moon gets in the way
British drivers and the moon
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Insurance Company Finds Correlation Between Bad Driving, Full Moon --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From the story: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The insurance company takes it's warning a step further to inform drivers of superstitious eating behaviors that are supposed to help people avoid the phenomenon. Drivers are advised to avoid consuming meat, salt, eggs and alcohol. Encouraged foods include lightly cooked or raw vegetables and fruits. Churchill's strongest recommendation is to simply avoid traveling by car at all. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some people are just easily distracted I guess it's from all the raw veggies. |

SRW---What would happen to YOU if you were mooned when you were driving? My sister once flashed her bazookas at a guy on I-94 once, and it's lucky the guy didn't crash.

Doesn't that insurance company know it's dangerous to eat raw fruit when driving, because drivers will be tossing watermelon rinds, half-eaten pineapples, and other stuff out the window?!

Meat is to be avoided. Could be a choking hazard while driving. Also, unforwarned bowel movements could spontaneously occur!
Salt is to be avoided because this makes one thirsty. Then, the driver may try fumbling around for a drink. Eggs should be avoided because during fits of road rage, the driver could 'egg' the other guys car. Also, if the egg-eating driver has a passenger, the egg-eater might starting cuttin'the cheese. Then, a ruckus could ensue, between driver and passenger....even if the only harm were laughing fits, with one's eyes closed. Alcohol is to be avoided. No explanation necessary.
