CNN is covering a Russian cult that is hiding in a cave until the end of the world.

They said that the world will end sometime next May, but if they are forced out they will kill themselves.

They are all in there except the leader, who is outside keeping an eye on things.

Russia doomsday cult prays for sign to leave bunker
Fourteen members of a Russian doomsday cult on Tuesday abandoned the remote underground bunker where they had been hiding for nearly half a year awaiting the end of the world.

The local chief negotiator said 14 cult members who remained underground would spend the night in the bunker praying for a sign from God that it was time for them to come out.
"They understand this is a chance the Lord is giving them," said Oleg Melnichenko, deputy governor of the Penza region where cult members have been holed up since October.
"They will pray all night in the hopes that a sign comes to them to leave their bunker," he told reporters as the light faded after a day of negotiations with members of the cult.

Yeah, I've heard about that a few months ago, while checking out the Lord's Witnesses stuff for my brother. The leader is on the verge of being charged for fraud (How strange, he's the only one who is outside of the bunker), but I think that it can't, as he's going under psychiatric treatment.

I decided that I tend to feel too sorry for the victims of Christian Orthodoxy to find much humor in them. They are like birds trapped in too small a cage.
