Impressive!

The magicians are much better here than on the Swedish equivalent of the show.

That was absolutely astounding. I'm speechless.

Fine. Just be sure to use the chainsaw, in exactly the same way as shown.

It's never the chainsaw that hurts. It's the staple gun after.

That looked much better than anything I watched on the finale of the US version of Phenomenon tonight.

Yeah that was a lame use of the chainsaw in Phenomenon last night, compared to this!

It would be totally, absolutely astounding if the camera would not cut away of the action at the precise moment the body is re-assembled. But, yes, it's quite impressive anyway.

I figured it out in only a few minutes, but it's a great effect nonetheless!

1) I'm not great at figuring out magic tricks. I'm envious of other people's ability to do them, because I only know a few unimpressive card tricks myself.

2) What impressed me the most was when the doctor walked behind the torso while the patient was lifting himself up on his hands. Knowing how this was done, that may not impress you in the least, but for someone who is clueless, it's very impressive.

3) I'm usually of the impression that the cameraman is not in on it, especially if the show isn't the magician's show, but that he's performing one someone else's. As such, I usually consider cut-aways to be unfortunate timing. I assume that if I were in the audience, I would see exactly what the video implies that you see.

There is an edit there that makes it seem more impressive than what you would see live.

Notice that they are carrying his upper body on the board at 53 seconds. Then at 1:01 you only see him on the small platform, with the board suddenly gone.

But most likely it was the show's decision to edit, as the whole routine is a bit longer and perhaps they didn't have enough time to show it all. I've seen the full routine and still great to watch.

Yes, I agree it's impressive as a first impression. But on further thought, let's not forget that there are, sadly, people living with half body like the one on the video. I've seen quite a few, and it's really impressive how the can live under those conditions.

I think the clue to the trick is why the guy is covering his face .....

Yes, but the most important part of the trick was edited out in the video. It may have been OK for the public in the audience to see, but may have been not for the camera ...... *wondering*....

It's certainly frustrating when the camera cuts to the judges at the most interesting part. Here's the same guy doing the same trick, but without the "putting together again" at the end:
